VULCAN SA fabrication program includes: pressure parts for Power Plants Boilers and boilers (up to 2000 to/h steam output) pumping units, thermo-mechanicals equipment and nuclear power plant equipment. Based on specific orders, the company manufactures equipment for the chemical, petrochemical, metallurgical and cement industry, coal mills, induced or forced draft fans, a.s.o.
VULCAN SA products are manufactured under the quality management system governed by the ISO 9001 :2000 international standards and also holds certificates TÜV: AD- 2000 - Merkblatt HP 0/TRD 201/ AD 200 HP 100R in conjunction with DIN 729-2; PED 97/23/EC - Module H 1; issued by TÜV Süddeutchland - Germany for boilers, pressure vessels and pipes.
VULCAN SA has manufactured 80-85% of the boilers for all the power stations in Romania, the most relevant being Turceni (7 boilers of 1035 t/h), Rovinari (4 boilers of 1035 t/h), Progresul Bucuresti (3 boilers of 420 t/h), Brazi (4 boilers of 420 t/h), Craiova (2 boilers of 525 t/h), a.s.o.
Since 1956 VULCAN has been designing and manufacturing conventional and front geometry pumping units intended for oilfields on both domestic and foreign markets.(around 52 types) under API, 11E, Standards and Romanian standard).
More than 26.000 oil pumping units and 58.000 tones of boilers pressure parts have been produced for domestic and international market and exported to: U.S.A, Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cuba, Egypt, Germany, Iraq, India, Yugoslavia, Russia (C.I.S.), Syria, Venezuela, Austria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Korea, Great Britain, Denmark, Switzerland, Iran, Jordan, Japan, Slovakia , Turkey, a.s.o.
VULCAN SA capability of working to the product quality and safety standards which comply with the American Standards has been recognised by authorisation according to U&PP codes issued by the American Society for Mechanical Engineers - U.S.A.for domestic market we have authorisation of ISCIR Romania (for pressure parts) CNCAN Romania for modular parts for CANDN Power Plant in Cernavoda Romania).
For 2009 we have planed an average production of 10.000-12.000 to of equipment PER YEAR.
