YAMAHA FG720S BK Yamaha FG720S has a solid sitka spruce top for volume, projection and tonal balance, with nato back and sides. New pearloid headstock logo and motif, small position markers. Non-scalloped X-bracing for a clear, open sound, and tight waisted for a well-defined midrange and strong low-end response. Also new for the FG's in 2005 is an inverted L-block, similar to that used in the Yamaha LL6, which creates a tighter neck-body connection for a deeper low end. Compared to a typical dreadnought, the FG Series "Jumbo" bodies are slightly thinner in width.
