Optogate XLR Multitester

This is possibly the smallest XLR multitester with built in microprocessor in the world. It contains an XLR cable tester as well as a 48V phantom power tester and a 120Hz sine generator. It fits in every pocket. The XLR-Multitester can recognize defects like short circuits, wrong polarity and broken wires. Three status leds indicate the test result. The tester is also able to check the 48V phantom power on pin 2 and pin 3 of the XLR when connected to a console. A 120Hz sine wave tone is sent to the mixer if the phantom power is ok. A small 3 Volt, Cr1220 provides the power for the cable test. When connected to the mixer it will use the phantom power from the console for the test.
