In Spider-Man: Web of Shadows - Amazing Allies Edition pentru PS2, invazia a unui organism simbiot mortal provoaca haos si devastare totala pe strazile New-York-ului, iar tu in rolul lui Spider-Man esti bineinteles, singurul ce poate salva orasul. Plasat intr-un New York apocaliptic, jocul ofera fanilor un nivel fara precedent de alegeri de gameplay, incluzand pentru prima oara controlul asupra "regiei" si sfarsitului jocului. Noul sistem de lupta din joc permite desfasurarea unor confruntari 3D reale care pornesc pe strada, continua pe "versantii" cladirilor si iau sfarsit pe acoperisurile acestora. Veti putea schimba rapid costumul traditional rosu al lui Spider-Man cu cel negru, puteti alege sa va aliati cu eroii onorabili conceputi de Marvel sau cu fapturile malefice impotriva carora acestia lupta, puteti alege ce abilitati ale caracterelor doriti sa imbunatatiti si ce misiuni doriti sa parcurgeti in incercarea voastra de a salva Manhattan-ul de la distrugerea totala.
