\r\n The XCELLENCE SERIES combines the advantages of the coaxial point source technology with the convenience of self-powered performance and the flexibility of on-board digital signal processing. Coaxial transducers behave as a coherent point source due to the fact that the directivity of the low and high frequency transducers is matched at the crossover frequency. This provides a smooth transition between woofer and driver with power response that is free of the polar lobbing effect typical of tradition horn and woofer combinations. The X-12C is ideal for multiple applications. It includes 1000 W continuous amplification (750 W for the woofer, 250W for the compression driver) and digital control through built-in DSP with the following presets: FACTORY, NEARFIELD, SPEECH, MONITOR, XOVER that make this system easy, flexible, and very comfortable to operate. It also features additional 16 memories that allow users to make their own presets for total flexibility. The coaxial transducer has been designed exclusively for this enclosure. It contains a 12” woofer with 3” voice coil and one 3” voice coil diameter, titanium diaphragm compression driver, all driven by a powerful annular neodymium magnet. The enclosure is made of varnished birch plywood, front steel grille with acoustically-transparent grey cloth, with lateral handle for easy transport and handling.Trapezoidal-wedge shape for use as stage monitor. With an EXTREMELY LIGHT weight of 19,2 Kg, it is the unit with the best weight/power/features ratio of the market.
