These LP's feature carved Maple caps on Mahogany bodies, '59 Les Paul Rounded Mahogany necks, 22 frets on a 24 and 3/4-inch scale length, and Pearloid trapezoid inlays. Available in 4 striking finishes, the Wine Red, Fireburst, and Ebony LP Studios all feature Rosewood fretboards, while the Alpine White packs a secret surprise on board. Normally reserved for instruments double in price, the Alpine White Les Paul Studio features an Ebony fretboard, adding a distinct cutting edge to the tone of an already very able tone machine. The pickups are capable of dishing copious amounts of tone, thanks to the Alnico magnets in the 490R and 498T pickups found in the neck and bridge positions, respectively, controlled by the standard 3-way toggle switch and array of dual volume and tone controls. The guitar ships strung up with Gibson Brite Wires, gauged .010 to .046, in a Black Reptile Pattern Hardshell Gibson case, with a White Plush interior.
