FBT Formula 143FXA

 Introducing FBT’s new exciting FORMULA 143FXA professional powered mixer built with outstanding quality components and offering amazing features and professional reliability. Designed with the user in mind, the FORMULA 143FXA is completely Made in Italy by FBT: the most versatile solution for a wide range of professional sound reinforcement applications. All functions of the FORMULA 143FXA are professionally designed and specified. The mixing section allows 14 channels, 6 mono with XLR/line, insert and 4 stereo with XLR-Mic in and L/R line in.



The built-in amps are in PWM technology (Class D), with single switch mode power supply for each power unit. The impressive output continuous power is 2x850W in 4 ohm impedance. The particularly lightweight technology developed by FBT makes the FORMULA 143FXA weighting only 16Kgs, thus making it nice and easy to carry around without killing your back with heavyweight comparison products having traditional toroidal transformer. Such a lot for a compact portable power machine! The FBT FORMULA 143FXA is dedicated to those who want to amplify a complete band without any sort of problem. The sound of the FORMULA 143FXA is simply crystal and extremely workable for voice too, allowing the singer to achieve the desired sound through the huge effect options. It is great for guitarist, having on board great effects for their playing of any kind of music. It is fantastic for the PA, with the immense power output offered (2x850Wrms/4 ohm) making it capable of driving a PA in a venue with more than 500 people.



MIC/MONO LINE CHANNELS



The professional layout of the mono channels feature: XLR Mic, Jack Line In, Jack Insert, Gain, HPF 100Hz lo-cut filter to suppress low frequency noise, 3-band EQ with sweepable semi-parametric MID (100Hz - 8kHz) at +/- 15dB range, AUX 1 and AUX 2 are pre/post fader, AUX 3 and AUX 4 are post fader, PAN, MUTE, PFL, 1xPeak LED, 1xSignal Presence LED, 60mm dust protected ALPS faders.



MIC/STEREO LINE CHANNELS



The stereo channel section (9-12) features: XLR Mic, L/R stereo In, Gain for Mic-in, HPF 100Hz lo-cut filter, 1 line-in volume, 3-band EQ(HF, MF, LF) at +/- 15dB range, AUX 1 and AUX 2 are pre/post fader, AUX 3 and AUX 4 are post fader, BAL, MUTE, PFL, 1xPeak led, 1xSignal Presence Led, 60mm dust protected ALPS faders. The stereo channel (13-14) includes EFFECT C management controls: this built-in digital effect bank provides 20 effects and with 16 variations. 4 banks are exclusively dedicated to electric guitar or other musical instruments. EFF C can be used in serial or parallel and also with Multitap and through midi programmable by the user.



DIGITAL EFFECTS SECTION



FORMULA 143FXA is equipped with a TRIPLE built-in effect section, completely available to the user for any kind of effect mixing desired. EFFECT A and B are available in all channels, feature Multitap and provide 15 effect banks with 16 variations programmable by the user and through midi. The third effect section is EFFECT C, resident on the stereo channel 13/14 (see “MIC/STEREO LINE CHANNELS” for description). A large 4-LCD lines display shows the operations of the three effect sections; controls include PRESET, EFFECT, TAP/MODIFY selections.



MASTER



The Master section of the FORMULA 143FXA features AUX 1-2 pre/post sends, L/R Master sends, MUTE, PFL, 1xPeak led, 1xSignal Presence Led, 60mm dust protected ALPS faders. Switchable Anti-Feedback filters are provided: with a sweepable range of 70Hz - 7kHz, they eliminate feedback between microphones and monitor speakers. 2x7 band graphic equalizers, with separate on/off switch, adjust any difficult room acoustic problem with EQ bands selected for best live performance. Possibility to assign the EQ section to external devices through the EQ-In/EQOut sockets. Additional MONO output with volume control, +48V Phantom power supply for condenser microphones, 2x10 LED Master display, 3xEffect Switch (A-B-C) sockets, AUX 3-4 sends sockets, L/R EFF A-B returns, L/R Control Room with volume, Headphones output, built-in USB 2.0 input connected to the 2-TRK SND/RTN to record and play your music desired program with volume control and assignment, 2-master Insert, L/R Master Line Out, 2xL/R Neutrik Speakon NL-4 powered outputs to passive PA systems, L/R Powered Inputs with Volume control allow the use of the internal amps independently from the mixing desk and drive external devices. Midi In and Thru for effects control.



POWER SECTION



With 2x850W at 4ohm impedance, the FORMULA 143FXA is one of most powered mixers available in the market. FBT has successfully engineered a PWM (pulse width modulation) power amplifiers each paired to a switch mode power supply guaranteeing the highest rate of energy to the amp systems. The result is a true power machine, lightweight (only 16Kgs) and extremely easy to carry and suitable for the most performing Applications.
